or are Fussball players way better looking than football, baseball or basketball players? Do they do it on purpose so that, with 2 games a night, women have something to look at?
They have cuter, more interesting outfits and longer hair. They are more fit than baseball players, not overly tall like basketball players, and not too thick like football players. They are always putting on the melodrama, which makes them more interesting. It all adds up :)
Football players (US football) need to be large people (to carry momentum when they collide or be inertial - not be moved far when collided with) and therefore have outsized leg muscles and even some fat for this. Baseball players need a lot of upper body strength to hit and throw so tend to be more muscular above than below.
Soccer, conversely, favors the lean-but-strong for speed and agility. Some studies suggest that proportionality and symmetry play a large role in what the human brain perceives as "good-looking".
I'd actually go further than that and suggest that because of the rapidity with which the on-field situation changes in soccer (as opposed to the other sports that you mention), that players have to be able to strategize while in motion and at the same time maintain awareness of the many rules regarding the position of the players that as a group soccer players are probably smarter as w ell.

I'm with you, I find soccer uniforms more interesting...
unfortunately I find the game completely dull and boring, thus fitting a stereotypically boring American image.

Yes. And yes. Very easy on the eyes.
IS that why I am still watching?
